ORANGE, Calif. – Connecticut College wrapped up its West Coast trip with a 20-4 loss at Chapman University on Wednesday evening in women's water polo action at the Alfred Aquatics Center.

Maria Sell (San Mateo, Calif.) provided all of Conn's offense with a game-high four goals. Brooke Brandenburger (Sacramento, Calif.) saw the majority of action in goal and finished with four saves.

The Camels hung close early as a pair of scores by Sell made it a 2-2 game with a minute left in the opening quarter. However, Chapman tacked on a pair of goals before the end of the period, then added four more in the second quarter to lead 8-2 at half.

Sell added goals in the third and fourth quarter, but the Panthers had too much firepower to overcome. Annie Lewis paced Chapman with three goals in the contest, one of six players with multiple goals for the hosts.

Conn College next travels to Erie, PA for a tournament at Penn State Behrend on March 18-19.
