WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Connecticut College women's lacrosse team fell to Williams 17-4 on Saturday afternoon at Farley-Lamb Field.
First year

Emily Yorns (Longmeadow, Mass.) each scored a pair of goals to pace the Camels. Claudia Russell had a game-high four tallies for the Ephs in the winning effort. With the victory, the Ephs improve to 6-1 overall and have now won six consecutive contests. The setback drops the Camels to 4-3 on the season.
Out of the gates, it was the visitors who scored first when Yorns rang in the goal off a pass from

The hosts followed up the strong first quarter with an equally impressive second stanza. The Ephs outscored the Camels 5-0 on goals from five different players.
Following the halftime break, Williams continued to pile on, scoring the first three goals of the half to extend its lead to 15-1.
Conn showed some resiliency near the end of the third quarter when Coughlin and Yorns both found the back of the net to cut into the lead.
In the fourth, the Camels defense limited the hosts to just two scores. Coughlin added her second tally of the day to wrap up the scoring effort for Conn.
