Men's Tennis Falls to Wesleyan

Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's tennis team opened the spring season with a 9-0 loss against 21st-ranked Wesleyan University on Saturday morning.

The Cardinals came away with all three doubles points to grab the early lead. Conn's duo of Aaron Fleishman (Brookline, Mass.) and Jules Taylor-Kerman (New York, N.Y.) put up the biggest fight, taking five games off Wesleyan's top team.

Fleishman also turned in a solid performance at the top singles spot, giving Wesleyan's JT Bilski all he could handle. Bilski took the first set by a 7-5 final before winning the second set in a tiebreaker. At the No. 2 position, Taylor-Kerman dropped a first-set tiebreaker before falling to Harry Collomb by a 7-6, 6-4 final. 

Conn College returns to action at home against Hamilton College on Saturday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m.
