Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's tennis team opened the spring season with a 9-0 setback against third-ranked Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon.

The Cardinals dropped only two games in the doubles portion to grab an early 3-0 lead. Wesleyan went on to sweep all six singles matches in straight sets to pick up its second win of the spring. 

Courtney Banks (North Haven, Conn.) had the most success on the singles side for the Camels, taking three games off Kristina Yu in a 6-1, 6-2 loss. She fell behind 3-0 in the second set before rallying back to win the next two games.

Conn College returns to action at home against Hamilton College on Saturday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m.
