NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 9-0 loss to No. 24 Bowdoin College on Sunday morning at Luce Field House.
The Polar Bears swept through doubles before taking the first three singles matches in straight sets. With the team results already decided, the final three singles matches were won by Bowdoin in pro sets.
Caitlin Cass (Newcastle, Maine) and
Sana Bhat (New Delhi) put up a fight at the top doubles spot, taking six games off the region's fifth-ranked duo of Cara Hung and Jamilah Karah. Bhat also battled at No. 2 singles, where she fell by an 8-4 final to Kennedi Carter.
Conn College finishes the year with an overall record of 7-10 (0-10 NESCAC), its highest win total since 2018-19. The Camels are slated to return all 11 letter winners next season.
