NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's squash team opened up play in the 2024 portion of their schedule, falling to visiting Wesleyan University 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon from Luce Fieldhouse. With the loss, Conn falls to 3-5 on the year.
Wesleyan started strong, as Portia Pilam picked up a 3-1 win over Ainsley Ellison (Westfield, N.J.). The closest the Camels came to earning a win came at seventh singles. Crystal Dixon (Chicago, Ill.) took the first two sets 11-8 and 11-9, before falling in five sets.
Conn (3-5) heads back out on the road, as the Camels travel to Carlisle, Pa. to take on Dickinson College at 12:00 p.m. on January 13th.
