Men's Squash Comes Up Short Against Wesleyan

NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The Connecticut College men's squash returned to action for the first time in the new year, falling to visiting Wesleyan University 6-3 on Thursday from Luce Fieldhouse. With the loss, Conn falls to 4-5 on the year.

Conn started strong, as Sam Lovejoy (Branford, Conn.) picked up the win at first singles. At second singles, Henry Pelletier (West Hartford, Conn.) battled hard, before falling in four sets, 11-13, 11-7, 6-11, 10-12. Noah Fish (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) claimed victory at fourth singles defeating Ethan Yan in straight sets. The Camels final win of the afternoon came in seventh singles, as Tim First (Concord, Mass.) took down Jack Lungstrum in straight sets.

Conn (4-5) heads back on the road, as the Camels travel to Carlisle, Pa. to take on Dickinson College on January 13th at 12:00 p.m.
