Men's Squash Splits With Fordham and Denison

BRONX, N.Y. -- The Connecticut College men's squash team headed to New York City for two matches, splitting with Fordham and Denison, to move to 4-8 on the season.

Conn was strong throughout the opening match against Fordham, winning 7-2. All seven wins for the Camels came in straight sets. Hudson Dunn (Narrangansett, R.I.), Sam Lovejoy (Branford, Conn.), Henry Pelletier (West Hartford, Conn.), Ryan Mach (Concord, Mass.), Noah Fish (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.), Peter Russell (Lancaster, Pa.), and Josiah Rondon (New Haven, Conn.) all claimed victory.

In the night cap, Dension squeaked out a slim 5-4 win over the Camels. Lovejoy and Pelletier won in straight sets at second and third singles. Meanwhile, Fish and Russell earned 3-1 victories, as Conn came out short overall.

Conn (4-8) returns to Connecticut for a neutral site matchup tomorrow, as the Camels take on Haverford College at Yale beginning at 2:00 p.m.
