CLINTON, N.Y. – The Connecticut College women's squash team earned their first NESCAC win since the 2019-2020 season, as the Camels defeated Hamilton College 8-1 on Saturday afternoon. With the win, Conn improves to 7-8.
Conn was fantastic all afternoon, earning sweeps in five of their eight wins. Ainsley Ellison (Westfield, N.J.), Gwyneth Perez (New Haven, Conn.), Miranda Medina (Houston, Texas), Crystal Dixon (Chicago, Ill.), and Eva Ross (Washington, D.C.) all picked up straight set wins. Izz Schumacher (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) and Hannah Preston (South Pasadena, Calif.) earned 3-1 wins, while Mariam Anwar (Fairfield, Conn.) rounded out the Camel victories, winning in five sets.
Conn (7-8) wraps up the regular season next weekend, as the Camels travel to Providence, R.I. to take on Brown University on Saturday.
