BOSTON, Mass. -- The Connecticut College women's indoor track and field team traveled to Boston, Mass. to take part in Middlebury's New England Small College Invitational. 

On the Track

400 Meters

• Cathal Keating (Dover, Mass.) placed 11th with a time of 51.48.

800 Meter

• Noah Vernick (Belmont, Mass.) earned a 17th place finish with a time of 2:04.91.

Mile

• Anthony Belford (Bay Shore, N.Y.) finished 32nd with a time of 4:38.09.

3000 Meters

• Brendan Mellitt (Cheshire, Conn.) claimed fifth place with a time of 8:30.15.

• Ethan Bush (Hanover, Mass.) finished with a time of 8:38.28 to claim ninth.

4x400 Relay

• Wesley Schreiber (New York, N.Y.), Chris Koskinen (Yarmouth, Maine), Vernick, and Kevin Lieue (Bellevue, Wash.) finished seventh with a time of 3:35.80.

In the Field

Pole Vault

• Koskinen claimed victory, clearing a height of 4.55m.

• Anders Larson (Concord, N.H.) picked up a 12th place finish, clearing 4.10m.

Long Jump

• Graham Josephson (Stow, Mass.) claimed seventh place, jumping a distance of 6.03m.

• Errol Apostolopoulos (Marblehead, Mass.) finished in the top 10, jumping 5.87m.

Triple Jump

• Jayson Firmin (Dedham, Mass.) claimed seventh place, finishing with a jump of 12.24m.

Shot Put

• Victor Alayande (London, England) finished 24th with a throw of 10.29m.

Weight Throw

• Alayande finished 18th with a throw of 12.84m.

Conn returns to action next weekend, as the Camels head back to the Boston area to take part in the Tufts Cupid Challenge beginning on Friday afternoon.
