WORCESTER, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's rowing team opened the season at the Snake Regatta on Saturday morning at Lake Quinsigamond.
The Camels raced four boats in the 4+ event and came away with solid results. Conn A, coxed by
Cecilia Duffield (Brookline, Mass.), finished seventh in the field of 18 with a time of 19:16. The Camels finished ahead of several other school's top boats, including Smith, New Hampshire, Middlebury, Assumption, Vermont and Mass Maritime.
Conn C was the next to cross the finish in 11th (19:48), followed closely by Conn B in 12th (19:57). Conn D rounded out the morning with 17th-place finish (20:40).
Conn College will next compete at the Head of the Charles on Sunday, October 20.
