Five Teams Enter NESCAC Championship Play on Saturday

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Five teams will compete in NESCAC Championships on a busy Saturday in Connecticut College athletics. The Camels will be in action at four different sites across three states, all with hopes of bringing home a conference title.

M/W Cross Country at Bowdoin – 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

The men’s and women’s cross country teams will be competing at the NESCAC Championships at the Pickard Field Cross Country Course on the Bowdoin College campus. The women's 6k race will begin at 11 a.m. with the men's 8k race to follow at 12 p.m.

Women’s Soccer at Wesleyan – 12:00 p.m.

The women’s soccer team makes its fifth-straight trip to the conference tournament and travels to top-seeded Wesleyan for the quarterfinals. The two squads last met on the final day of the regular season and played to a 1-1 draw. Saturday’s game will be the first meeting between the schools in the NESCAC Championship.

Men’s Soccer at Amherst – 12:30 p.m.

The men’s soccer team makes its 13th-straight NESCAC Championship appearance and will play at third-seeded Amherst in the quarterfinals. The contest marks the fourth-straight year that the two rivals have met in the postseason, as well as the eighth meeting between the sides since 2021.

Field Hockey at Williams – 1:00 p.m.

The field hockey team makes its return to the NESCAC Championship and will face second-seeded Williams in the quarterfinals. The two schools will meet for the third time in tournament play, with the Ephs holding a 2-0 edge in the series. The Camels are making their seventh NESCAC Championship appearance and first since 2012.
