Men's Squash Comes Up Short at Amherst

AMHERST, Mass. -- The Connecticut College men's squash team battled on the road with Amherst College, falling to the host Mammoths 8-1 on Wednesday night.

In first singles, Conn picked up the win, as Alex Moncada (Playa Del Carmen, Mexico) defeated Nathan Feinstein in five sets. Hudson Dunn (Narragansett, R.I), hung tough in another five set thriller, but fell short in the final set, falling to Abhimanyu Gupta. Adam Elkaliouby (Brooklyn, N.Y.) also took his match to five sets, but he came up short falling to Flynn Vemore.

Connecticut College (0-2) returns to action on Saturday, taking on Vassar and Haverford in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. beginning at 11:00 a.m.
