BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Northeast Water Polo Conference released their annual awards on Wednesday afternoon, and sophomore attacker Jesse Ellis (Fresno, Calif.) was named an Honorable Mention as voted on by the league's coaches.

Ellis earns his first All-NWPC recognition, recording 44 goals on the season, to go along with a team-high 39 assists and 33 steals.

"Jesse works extremely hard at both ends of the pool," said head coach Matt Anderson. "He is second on our team in goals, and leads the team in assists and steals, while also being our penalty taker. His effort is top shelf and his ability to understand what to do in situations is another strong asset that he has; he is very deserving of this honor.

A total of 22 athletes are recognized with seven First Team, eight Second Team and seven Honorable Mention selections accompanying the three major awards.

Conn opens up the NWPC Championships on Friday afternoon, as the Camels take on Harvard in the opening round at 3:00 p.m. in Princeton, N.J.
