PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Connecticut College women's squash team defeated Denison College 6-3 to advance to the Walker Cup 2nd Consolation final. With the win, Conn improves to 10-9 on the year.

Conn battled hard all afternoon, claiming four wins in straight sets. Hannah Preston (South Pasadena, Calif.), Izzy Schumacher (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.), Crystal Dixon (Chicago, Ill.), and Eva Ross (Washington, D.C.) earned straight set victories. Miranda Medina (Houston, Texas) won 3-1, while Gwyneth Perez (New Haven, Conn.) added a 3-2 victory.

Conn (10-9) wraps up play in the CSA Nationals tomorrow morning, taking on Colby College in the 2nd Consolation final at 9:00 a.m.
