PROVIDENCE, R.I.-- The Connecticut College men's squash team battled hard, coming up short on the road, falling to Brown University 5-4 on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, Conn falls to 6-11 on the year.
Conn started strong, as Alex Moncada (Playa del Carmen, Mexico) and Hudson Dunn (Narraganset, R.I.) both earned victories in four sets. Sam Lovejoy (Branford, Conn.) followed suit with a five-set thriller, taking down Dawson Lin, with Henry Pelletier (West Hartford, Conn.) also going the distance to earn a five-set win over Will McLaren. However, Brown took the other five matches to come away with the 5-4 win.
Conn (6-11) has almost two weeks off before the Camels travel to Philadelphia, Pa. to take part in the CSA Team Nationals beginning Feb. 15.
