MEDFORD, Mass. -- The Connecticut College men's indoor track and field team traveled to Tufts University to take part in the Tufts Cupid Challenge.

On the Track

200 Meters

• Dylan Haime (Bronx, N.Y.) led the Camels with a time of 23.86 to finish 21st.

800 Meters

• Anthony Beford (Bay Shore, N.Y.) claimed 12th with a time of 2:00.05.

1000 Meters

• Sean Evans (Newton, Mass.) finished 21st with a time of 2:54.59.

Mile

• Sam Walker (Newburyport, Mass.) finished at 4:34.11 to earn 32nd.

3000 Meters

• Jonathan Fossel (Evergreen, Colo.) finished 23rd with a time of 9:17.42.

5000 Meters

• Brendan Mellitt (Cheshire, Conn.) earned NE D3 qualification with the victory and a time of 14:54.29.

• Ethan Bush (Hanover, Mass.) also earned NE D3 qualification finishing second at 14:56.13.

• Zach Stoddard (Pomfret Center, Conn.) claimed fifth with a time of 15:45.76.

• Ellis Iurilli-Hough (Melrose, Mass.) earned sixth with a time of 15:52.75.

In the Field

High Jump

• Errol Apostolopoulos (Marblehead, Mass.) finished 14th, clearing 1.71m.

Long Jump

• Apostolopoulos finished in the top 10, jumping 6.07m.

Weight Throw

• Victor Alayande (London, England) finished 19th with a throw of 12.85m.

Conn returns to action next weekend, as the Camels continue their Boston swing, participating in the Boston University Valentine Invitational beginning on Friday.
