MEDFORD, Mass. -- The Connecticut College men's track and field team headed to the Boston area, finishing third at the Tufts Snowflake Classic hosted by Tufts University.

On the Track

100 Meters

• Francisco Moreira (Belchertown, Mass.) finished sixth with a time of 11.32.

200 Meters

• Faiz Aladin (Palo Alto, Calif.) finished 13th with a time of 23.13.

400 Meters

• Cathal Keating (Dover, Mass.) finished seventh with a time of 51.52.

• Graham Josephson (Stow, Mass.) finished eighth with a time of 51.94.

• Dylan Haime (Bronx, N.Y.) finished ninth with a time of 52.28.

800 Meters

• Noah Vernick (Belmont, Mass.) finished 14th with a time of 2:03.23.

1500 Meters

• Jonathan Norton (Vineyard Haven, Mass.) claimed victory with a time of 4:03.08.

3000 Meter Steeplechase

• Ellis Iurilli-Hough (Melrose, Mass.) claimed victory with a time of 9:37.85.

5000 Meters

• Matt Scardigno (Port Washington, N.Y.) claimed victory with a time of 14:51.67.

• Brendan Mellitt (Cheshire, Conn.) finished second with a time of 14:54.63.

• Ethan Bush (Hanover, Mass.) finished third with a time of 14:55.60.

• Michael Creutz (North Easton, Mass.) finished ninth with a time of 35:34.50.

Conn will stay in New London, making the short trek down the road to participate in the Coast Guard Invitational on Saturday.
