WORCESTER, Mass. -- The Connecticut College men's rowing team opened the spring season at the Donahue Cup on Saturday morning at Lake Quinsigamond.
The Camels put three boats in the water on a day that featured a moderate cross wind and slight chop. The varsity 8 crew, led by
Callista Crisonino, clocked a time of 7:00.64 over the 2,000-meter course. Conn finished fifth in the race, as Williams College notched the top time of 6:10.94.
In the 2V8 race, the Camels finished fourth as
Ryan Traub piloted the boat to a time of 7:24.32. Under the direction of
Ben Levine, Conn also crossed the finish in 8:19.44 in the 3V4+ race.
Conn will next compete at the McGee/Baker Cup on Saturday, April 27 at Lake Quinsigamond.
