NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The Connecticut College men's track and field team stayed close to home, traveling to take part in the Coast Guard Spring Invitational.

On the Track

100 Meters

• Brian Gibson (Andover, Mass.) finished 21st with a time of 11.65 earning NESCAC qualification.

200 Meters

• Dylan Haime (Bronx, N.Y.) finished 9th with a time of 23.05 earning NESCAC qualification.

• Francisco Moreira (Belchertown, Mass.) finished 12 with a time of 23.25 earning NESCAC qualification.

• Gibson finished 19th with a time of 23.75 earning NESCAC qualification.

400 Meters

• Ty Dorow (Barrington, N.H.) finished sixth with a time of 52.75 earning NESCAC qualification.

800 Meters

• Jonathan Norton (Vineyard Haven, Mass.) claimed victory with a time of 1:57.93 earning NESCAC qualification.

• Sam Walker (Newburyport, Mass.) finished 12th with a time of 2:02.58 earning NESCAC qualification.

1500 Meters

• Ethan Bush (Hanover, Mass.) finished third with a time of 4:05.53 earning NESCAC qualification.

• Brendan Mellitt (Cheshire, Conn.) finished fourth with a time of 4:06.99 earning NESCAC qualification.

• Ellis Iurilli-Hough (Melrose, Mass.) finished 12th with a time of 4:14.72 earning NESCAC qualification.

• Chris Davis (Dunstable, Mass.) finished 13th with a time of 4:15.02 earning NESCAC qualification.

• The group of Moreira, Jayson Firmin (Dedham, Mass.), Haime, and Faiz Aladin (Palo Alto, Calif.) finished sixth with a time of 46.04.

• The group of Haime, Cathal Keating (Dover, Mass.), Dorow, and Chris Koskinen (Yarmouth, Maine) finished second with a time of 3:29.00.

Long Jump

• Graham Josephson (Stow, Mass.) finished 14th with a distance of 6.38m earning NESCAC qualification.

• Declan Leclair (Westminster, Mass.) finished 28th with a distance of 5.76m earning NESCAC qualification.
