WORCESTER, Mass. -- The Connecticut College men's rowing team wrapped up the 2024 season at the National Invitational Rowing Championship on Sunday at Lake Quinsigamond.

The Camels put a pair of varsity 8 boats in the water for the event, which featured morning heats followed by sets of afternoon finals. Both crews qualified for the third level finals and turned in faster times than their preliminary heats. The 1V8 boat finished fourth in a time of 6:54.32 while the 2V8 boat won a head-to-head battle against Skidmore in 7:02.92.

Conn also competed in the men's open four, one of seven boats that raced in the grand final. The Camels shaved nearly three seconds off their morning time to finish seventh in 8:06.11.

Wesleyan (5:56.71) won a close battle with Williams (5:57.74) and MIT (5:57.91) to take gold in the 1V8, securing the NESCAC title in the process. Tufts (6:10.59) claimed victory in the 2V8.
