CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Connecticut College track and field teams sent four individuals to Cambridge, to take part in the MIT Final Qualifier.

On the Track

1500 Meters

• Grace McDonough (Londonderry, N.H.) claimed victory, breaking her own school record with a time of 4:30.88.

• Alexa Estes (Virginia Beach, Va.) finished fifth with a time of 4:35.07.

3000m Steeplechase

• Jonathan Norton (Vineyard Haven, Mass.) finished fourth with a time of 9:28.25.

In the Field

Triple Jump

• Jayson Firmin (Dedham, Mass.) picked up the victory jumping a distance of 13.96m.

Conn will wait to see if they have any individuals qualify for the 2024 NCAA Division 3 Outdoor Championships which begin on Thursday, May 23 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
