BOSTON, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's track and field team returned to action on Saturday, competing at the Suffolk Relays.

On the Track

3000 Meters

• Grace McDonough (Londonderry, N.H.) won the event with a time of 10:00.95, setting a new school record.

5000 Meters

• Abby Fernald (Avon, Conn.) finished 6th with a time of 18.17.71, qualifying for the New England D3 Championships.

Mile

• Lilla Kate Tucker (Marietta, Ga.) finished seventh with a time of 5:18.29

• Alexa Estes (Virginia Beach, Va.) finished eighth with a time of 5:19.24.

1600 Sprint Medley

• Abby Illusorio (), Alexis Melvin (Wilmington, Mass.), Estes, and Abby Williams (Waterville, Maine) finished second with a time of 4:24.77, setting a new school record.

4x400 Relay

• Tucker, April Schilling (San Diego, Calif.), Katie Keating (Dorchester, Mass.), and Caroline Graziani (Concord, Mass.) finished fourth with a time of 4:22.86.

Conn makes the short trek to compete in the Coast Guard Academy Invitational next Saturday.
