BRUNSWICK, Maine – In its first action of 2025, the Connecticut College men's swimming and diving team coasted to a 199-81 victory at Bowdoin College on Sunday afternoon at Leroy Greason Pool.

The Camels made it a clean sweep of all 16 events, claiming wins in 14 individual events as well as the two relays. A total of six Conn swimmers—a group that included Justin Finkel (Cheshire, Conn.), Carrick Shea (Grafton, Mass.), Jack Mattison-Gulotta (Florence, Mass.), Matthew Morris (Alexandria, Va.), Evan Lyons (Longmeadow, Mass.), and Aiden Miller (Westfield, N.J.)—and diver Cam Bizjak (Willoughby, Ohio) each won a pair of events.

Lyons started off the day by taking the 1,000 free (9:48.99) by more than 12 seconds. Later in the meet, he used a strong freestyle leg to power to the wall first in the 400 IM (4:13.36).

Finkel's first victory came in the 50 free (20:58) where he won by more than a second. Miller posted wins in the 100 free (47.72) and 200 free (1:44.00), and Mattison-Gulotta finished first in the 500 free (4:41.39) to give the Camels a sweep of the freestyle events.

Morris captured both the 100 back (51.67) and 200 back (1:53.46), and Shea did the same in the 100 breast (57.00) and 200 breast (2:09.17). Finkel and Mattison-Gulotta cleaned up in the 100 fly (49.50) and 200 fly (1:51.78), respectively, while Bizjak turned in the top scores in the 1M (259.80) and 3M (307.22) dives.

Miller, Shea and Finkel also contributed to both relay wins. The 400 medley relay team, which included Morris, won by less than a second with a time of 3:23.9.5. In the 400 free relay, Nicholas Holovacs (Hingham, Mass.) joined the trio for a winning time of 3:07.22.

Conn will next compete at Williams College on Saturday, January 18 at 1:00 p.m.
