NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's track and field team had a strong day competing at the Coast Guard Invitational.

On the Track

55 Meters

• Abby Illusorio (San Diego, Calif.) finished sixth with a time of 7.72.

600 Meters

• Lilla Kate Tucker (Marietta, Ga.) finished second with a time of 1:41.71.

• Katie Keating (Dorchester, Mass.) finished fourth with a time of 1:45.15.

• Caroline Graziani (Concord, Mass.) finished fifth with a time of 1:45.51.

• April Schilling (Amherst, Mass.) finished sixth with a time of 1:46.64.

• Camille Cortes (Annandale, Va.) finished seventh with a time of 1:46.90.

• Chase Ireland (Prospect, Conn.) finished eighth with a time of 1:48.78.

• Mia Wolpe (Sudbury, Mass.) finished tenth with a time of 1:52.08. 

800 Meters

• Sarah Steudel (Westborough, Mass.) finished third with a time of 2:31.39.

1000 Meters

• Liz Freeman (Maynard, Mass.) finished second with a time of 3:15.88.

• Sara Braslow (Merion, Pa.) finished fourth with a time of 3:18.14.

Mile

• Mary Lonergan (Andover, Mass.) finished fourth with a time of 5:35.70.

• Gabbie Mogavero (West Springfield, Mass.) finished with a time of 5:37.79.

• Julia Coyle (Pomfret Center, Conn.) finished sixth with a time of 5:42.10.

• Cleo Kilpatrick (Minneapolis, Minn.) finished eighth with a time of 5:48.93.

• Annika Hegde (New York, N.Y.) finished ninth with a time of 5:59.74.

3000 Meters

• Molly Donovan (Medfield, Mass.) claimed victory with a time of 11:41.95.

• Olivia Ferraro (Cheshire, Conn.) finished third with a time of 11:49.59.

55 Hurdles

• Alina Newman (Santa Monica, Calif.) finished fifth with a time of 9.83.

4x400 Relay

• Schilling, Keating, Graziani, and Wolpe finished third with a time of 4:29.09.

Distance Medley Relay

• Coyle, Tucker, Braslow, and Freeman earned the win with a time of 13:41.50.

In the field

High Jump

• Grace Mattaliano (Norfolk, Mass.) finished fourth clearing a height of 1.46m.

Pole Vault

• Mattaliano finished second, clearing a height of 2.95.

Long Jump

• Mattaliano finished fifth with a distance of 4.69m.

• Illusorio finished eighth with a distance of 4.63m.

Shot Put

• Kate Stone (Audubon, Pa.) finished ninth with a throw of 8.88m.

Conn travels to Boston, Mass. to take part in Middlebury's New England Small College Invite next Sunday at The Track at New Balance.
