MILTON, Mass. – Connecticut College men's soccer head coach
Reuben Burk was named New England Soccer Journal's Division III Men's Coach of the Year as announced by the journal.
To recognize those who profoundly shaped New England's college soccer scene, New England Soccer Journal has handed out Coach and Player of the Year awards across all three divisions, for both men's and women's soccer. In all, six players and six coaches were honored.
Burk earns the honor for the first time in his career after he led Conn to a historic season that included a national runner-up finish and the program's first-ever NESCAC title. During Conn's postseason run, the Camels defeated seven ranked teams, including three top-10 opponents. The Camels (14-3-7 overall) finished the season ranked No. 2 in the final USC Top 25 Poll.
Burk has led the Camels to new heights in his six seasons as head coach. He has produced the first national championship (2021), first NESCAC Championship (2024) and first unbeaten regular season (2023) in program history. Conn has earned a total of four NCAA berths during his tenure, which includes four Elite Eight trips and two title game appearances.
