GENEVA, N.Y. -- The Connecticut College women's squash team snapped a five game losing streak, defeating host William Smith 8-1 on Wednesday.
Ainsley Ellison (Westfield, N.J.) picked up the first win for the Camels, earning a four set victory over Brianna Lucero. From there it was all Conn, as the final seven wins for the Camels came in straight sets. The winners for Conn were Izzy Schumacher (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.), Gwyneth Perez (New Haven, Conn.), Miranda Medina (Houston, Texas), Crystal Dixon (Chicago, Ill.), Kimberly Lucero (New York, N.Y.), Angeliese Ramirez (New Haven, Conn.), and Magnolia Strouse (Brooklyn Heights, N.Y.).
Conn (3-8) returns to action on Saturday, January 18 as the Camels open up play at the Wesleyan Round Robin against Denison at 3:00 p.m. in Middletown, Conn.
