SHELTON, Conn. -- The Connecticut College men's rowing team took part in the Head of the Housatonic on Saturday morning on the Housatonic River.

The Camels had three boats compete across two races at the event. The 1V8 boat finished 17th in the field of 23 with a time of 14:49.8, while the 2V8 boat crossed the finish in 15:51.2. Conn's 1V4 boat, coxed by Samira Grossmann-Ferris, finished 11th out of 18 teams and clocked in at 15:52.1.

Conn will next compete at the Head of the Charles on Sunday, October 19 in Boston, Mass.
