SHELTON, Conn. -- The Connecticut College women's rowing team competed at the Head of the Housatonic on Saturday morning on the Housatonic River.

Conn entered three boats in the collegiate 8+ race, and Caroline Lee coxed the 1V8 boat to a fifth-place finish in the field of 11 with a time of 16:27.3. The 2V8 and 3V8 boats clocked times of 17:19.4 and 17:21.4, respectively.

Conn will next race at the Head of the Charles on Sunday, October 19 in Boston, Mass.
