MEDFORD, Mass. — Four members of the Connecticut College men's tennis team competed at the 2025 ITA New England Regionals on Friday at Tufts University.
The day began with a highly competitive doubles match between Conn's
Noa Hoshino (Tokyo, Japan) and
Sigmund Winiecki (Jaffrey, N.H.) and the duo of Oliver Lorenz and Aidan Wang-Fan from Brandeis. After the two sides battled to a 7-7 tally, the Judges prevailed by a 7-2 margin in the tiebreaker.
The Camels also played four singles matches on the day, all against NESCAC opposition.
Gavin Anderson (Avon, Conn.) and Winiecki lost in straight sets in the "A" draw while Hoshino and
Tucker Catalano (Duxbury, Mass.) fell in the "B" draw.
Conn will close out the fall season with a doubleheader with Saint Michael's College and Endicott College on Sunday, October 5 beginning at 9:30 a.m.
