NEW LONDON, Conn. — The Connecticut College women's volleyball team coasted to a 3-0 victory over the University of Saint Joseph on Tuesday night at Luce Field House.

The Camels trailed only once in the match—at 1-0 in the second set—en route to 25-8, 25-10 and 25-11 finishes. Conn hit a season-high .421 as a team and recorded 40 kills, led by a season-high 14 from Taylor Chatigny (Naples, Fla.).

Outmatched from the start, the Blue Jays fell behind 4-0 in the opening set and never recovered. Grace Anderson (Pawling, N.Y.) paced Conn with six kills in the frame as the hosts quickly built a double-digit advantage. The Camels wrapped up the set by winning eight of the final nine points to grab the 1-0 lead in the match.

After USJ went up 1-0 in the second, Conn ripped off a 5-0 run and quickly extended the margin to 13-4. Chatigny and Sarah Woodhouse (Santa Barbara, Calif.) each supplied five kills in the stanza, and Dylan Kokkinos (Aurora, Ill.) tacked on three aces from the service stripe.

Conn used runs of 6-0 and 13-1 to build a 21-5 lead in the final set. Chatigny capped her night with five kills in the frame while Tilde Keatley (Pasadena, Calif.) added three.

Woodhouse finished the night with a career-best seven kills. Aubrie Letourneau (Mattapoisett, Mass.) and Sienna McCormack (Larkspur, Calif.) split setting duties and recorded 21 and 13 assists, respectively. Caroline Festersen (Omaha, Neb.) and Dylan Kokkinos (Aurora, Ill.) led the defense with nine digs apiece and combined for seven aces.
