WATERFORD, Conn. – The No. 13 Connecticut College women's cross country team finished third at the 2025 NESCAC Women's Cross Country Championship on Saturday afternoon at Harkness Memorial State Park.

No. 1 Williams College took home the team title with 32 points and put five runners in the top-10 of the individual standings. No. 9 Middlebury College finished runner-up with 69 points while the Camels totaled 81 points to round out the top three. Conn's third-place showing was the best in program history.

Middlebury's Audrey MacLean repeated as individual medalist, covering the 6K course in 20:47.8. Conn's Grace McDonough (Londonderry, N.H.) finished as runner-up—the best individual finish in program history—with a time of 21:05.0.

McDonough never dipped below sixth place throughout the race. She led the field at the 1.65K split before falling back to third by the midway point. She then dropped to sixth at the 4.8K split but posted the fastest time over the final 1.2K, closing with a strong kick to move up four places before the finish line.

Kiera Tallas (Fountain Valley, Calif.) and Abby Williams (Waterville, Maine) also turned in stellar races, earning All-NESCAC honors with finishes of eighth and 14th, respectively. Both notched personal records—Tallas clocked in at 21:19.14, while Williams crossed the finish in 21:46.49.

Alexa Estes (Virginia Beach, Va.) also recorded a personal record for the 6K, finishing 28th overall with a time of 22:16.01. Alsacia Timmerman (Morrisville, Vt.) completed the scoring for the Camels with a 35th-place finish in 22:28.11. April Schilling (Amherst, Mass.) and Abby Fernald (Avon, Conn.) rounded out Conn's top-7, posting times of 22:49.28 and 23:23.23, respectively.

A record three Camels earned All-NESCAC honors by virtue of a top-14 finish. McDonough earned first team honors while both Tallas and Williams landed second team spots.
Conn will next host the D3 Challenge on Saturday, November 8 at Stenger Farm Park in Waterford, Conn.
