CANTON, N.Y. – The Connecticut College men's cross country team finished seventh at the 2025 NCAA Mideast Regional on Saturday morning at the Ronald C. Hoffmann Cross Country Course.
RPI finished atop the field of 26 teams with 44 points, placing five runners in the top 14 of the individual standings. Williams finished as runner-up with 95 points while Middlebury (104), Wesleyan (109) and Amherst (111) battled each other to fill out the top five.
Conn, which finished with 219 points, was paced by
Ellis Iurilli-Hough (Melrose, Mass.). The low stick for the Camels all season, he clocked a time of 25:19.4 to finish seventh overall in the field of 179 runners. By virtue of a top-35 finish, he also earned All-Region honors for the first time in his career.
Ronan Staab (White Plains, N.Y.) was the next across the finish line for Conn, placing 45th with a time of 26:30.5.
Griffin Selber (State College, Pa.) took 52nd in 26:39.8 while
Brendan Capodanno (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) was hot on his heels, finishing 53rd in 26:40.6.
Nicholas DeMarco (Albany, N.Y.) completed the scoring for the Camels with a time of 27:06.7, good enough for 62nd.
Josh Barzilai (Princeton, N.J.) and
Deem Quinn (Cranston, R.I.) rounded out the team's top-7 with times of 27:22.3 and 27:48.7, respectively.
Iurilli-Hough figures to be in good standing to qualify as an individual for the 2025 NCAA DIII Championship. The official selections will be announced on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. on NCAA.com
