HADLEY, Mass. – Connecticut College sophomore Carrick Shea (Grafton, Mass.) was named NESCAC Performer of the Week for the sport of men's swimming & diving, as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning.
Shea, who led the Camels to a 213-71 victory over Middlebury last week, earned the honor for the first time in his career. It also marked the program's third selection since 2023.
Shea posted lifetime bests in the 50 freestyle (20.59) and 100 freestyle (45.78) races versus the Panthers. He also recorded a lifetime unsuited best split in the 50 breaststroke in the 200 medley relay (24.77).
The Camels return to action at home against Amherst and Coast Guard on December 5-6.
