SEATTLE, Wash. – Jesse Ellis (Fresno, Calif.) of the Connecticut College men's water polo team landed on the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation First Team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Ellis earns his second career all-conference honors, after being named an All-NWPC honorable mention selection last season.
Ellis leads the Camels with 80 points on 44 goals and 36 assists, while adding 35 steals, eight drawn exclusions, and two field blocks.
"This is quite an honor for Jesse to make All-MPSF First Team," said head coach Matt Anderson. "This honor means that you could start for any team in the conference. Jesse has exceeded all expectations coming out of high school. He does it by giving it his all, all the time, and by listening, working on, and doing what he needs to reach the highest level possible."
Joining Ellis as an honoree is Jeffrey Harrington (San Diego, Calif.) who was named as an honorable mention. Harrington ranks second on the team with 44 points on 37 goals and seven assists, while chipping in 21 steals, 19 drawn exclusions, and two field blocks.
Conn (4-13, 3-5 MPSF) heads to Stanford, Calif. to take part in the MPSF Championships beginning on Friday, as the Camels take on Penn State Behrend at 11:00 a.m. EST.
