COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Connecticut College midfielder Bridget McGann (West Hartford, Conn.) was one of 60 student-athletes from 45 different Division III institutions who earned a spot on the 2025 NFHCA Senior Team, as announced on Thursday morning by the organization.

The honor celebrates players' competitive excellence, leadership, and lasting influence within their programs. Selections are based on nominations submitted by NFHCA member coaches and reviewed by committees composed entirely of NFHCA coach members. Seniors are eligible for selection only once during their collegiate careers.

"We are so proud of Bridget for this great honor from the NFHCA," said head coach Ryley van der Velde. "To make the Senior Team is such a testament to her standout career here at Conn. Throughout her four years, Bridget has helped make special things happen for Connecticut College field hockey. This recognition is so well deserved!"

McGann was a four-time All-NESCAC selection at Conn—earning first team honors in her final two seasons—and a three-time all-region honoree. Over 58 career games she amassed 37 goals and eight assists for 82 points, ranking fourth all-time in program history in both goals and points. She led the Camels in scoring in each of her four seasons and finished her career with 10 multi-goal games and seven game-winning goals.

Conn ended the 2025 season with an overall record of 6-9 (1-9 NESCAC). The Camels matched their win total from a season ago and went unbeaten in non-conference play for the first time since 2011.
