Men's Squash Battles Tough with Saint Lawrence and Amherst

NEW LONDON, Conn.-- The Connecticut College men's squash team returned home for the first time, hosting Saint Lawrence on Friday and Amherst on Saturday.

On Friday against Saint Lawrence, Conn hung tough before falling 6-3. The Camels picked up victories at seventh, eighth, and ninth singles. Hayden Okurowski (Concord, Mass.) won a five-set thriller over Dmitry Stepanenko, before Arman Sana (Richmond, Va.) and Ward McGill (Louisville, Ky.) both earned straight set wins.

On Saturday against Amherst, Conn ultimately fell 9-0. The Camels best performance of the day came at first singles where Henry Pelletier (West Hartford, Conn.) battled Roman Parisi in four sets, before falling 11-13, 11-8, 8-11, and 5-11.

Conn (1-2, 0-1 NESCAC) returns to action on Saturday December 6, as the Camels travel to Medford, Mass. to take on Tufts.
