WATERFORD, Conn. — The Connecticut College men's and women's cross country teams hosted a handful of teams for the D3 Challenge on Saturday afternoon at Stenger Farm Park.
The Camels finished second in the men's race and third in the women's, both of which were contested over a 5K course. Williams won the team titles in both events and also produced the individual winners for each race.
Liz Freeman (Maynard, Mass.) led 20 Conn runners in the women's race, crossing the finish in a time of 18:51.1 to place third overall. On the men's side,
Griffin Selber (State College, Pa.) finished as runner-up and clocked in at 15:40.9 to pace 10 Conn runners.
Conn College will next compete at the NCAA Mideast Regionals on Saturday, November 15 in Canton, N.Y.
