COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Connecticut College senior Bridget McGann (West Hartford, Conn.) was one of 16 players from the region who received NFHCA Division III All-Region First Team honors on Wednesday morning, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

McGann was selected to the Region II First Team for the first time in her career, having been a second-team honoree each of the past three years. She is the first Camel to nab first-team status since 2010, and is the first player in program history to earn All-Region honors in each of her four seasons. Conn has produced a total of 28 all-region selections since 2001.

"We are so proud of Bridget for her All-Region First Team selection," said head coach Ryley van der Velde. "Not only is this a huge honor for Bridget in the Division III field hockey world, but she is also the first member of our program to receive this honor since Abby Hine in 2010. Bridget is a special player who has had a special career here at Conn. She has made her mark on this program and in the CCFH record books."

McGann was a four-time All-NESCAC selection at Conn, earning first team honors in her final two seasons. Over 58 career games she amassed 37 goals and eight assists for 82 points, ranking fourth all-time in program history in both goals and points. She led the Camels in scoring in each of her four seasons and finished her career with 10 multi-goal games and seven game-winning goals.

Conn ended the 2025 season with an overall record of 6-9 (1-9 NESCAC). The Camels matched their win total from a season ago and went unbeaten in non-conference play for the first time since 2011.

The NFHCA Division III All-Region team announcement is the first in a list of NFHCA postseason awards over the next several weeks. Next to be announced are the NFHCA Regional Players of the Year on December 11, followed by the NFHCA All-American teams on December 16 and the NFHCA National Player of the Year on December 18.
