KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Connecticut College men's soccer junior midfielder Max Haberman (San Diego, Calif.) continued to bring in recognition after being named a United Soccer Coaches All-America Fourth Team selection, as announced by the organization on Thursday.
The midfielder appeared in and started all 21 games for the Camels this season, while picking up NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Offensively, Haberman chipped in nine points on four goals and one assist, including two goals in the NCAA tournament, while helping the Camels keep 11 clean sheets.
"We are so excited and happy for Max to be recognized as an All-American," said head coach Reuben Burk. "This is a testament to all of the hard work he has put in over his three years here. He's developed his game tremendously well and was a key player in every single game this year. I believe Max is also the type of person to tell you he couldn't have earned this without his teammates."
Haberman earned his first career All-American honors, becoming the 17th selection in program history.
Connecticut College wrapped up the season with their third-straight appearance in the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament, and their fourth NESCAC Championship game appearance in five years.
