MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's track and field team kicked off the indoor season competing at the Wesleyan Indoor Invitational.

60 Meters

• Luke Alban (Piedmont, Calif.) finished second with a time of 7.13.

• Jamal Bakar (Valatie, N.Y.) finished fifth with a time of 7.32.

• Brian Gibson (Andover, Mass.) finished seventh with a time of 7.39.

200 Meters

• Lucas Doben (Longmeadow, Mass.) claimed victory with a time of 23.09.

• Bakar finished second with a time of 23.21.

• Ty Dorow (Barrington, N.H.) finished fifth with a time of 23.47.

• Errol Apostolopoulos (Marblehead, Mass.) finished seventh with a time of 23.62.

• Gibson finished ninth with a time of 24.13.

600 Meters

• Owen Phelan (North Andover, Mass.) finished fourth with a time of 1:32.04.

60 Meter Hurdles

• Evan Rawlings (Mansfield, Mass.) finished fourth with a time of 9.28.

• Declan Leclair (Westminster, Mass.) finished fifth with a time of 9.49.

4x400 Relay

• The quartet of Dorow, Wesley Schreiber (New York, N.Y.), Doben, and Alban claimed victory with a time of 3:28.11.

Long Jump

• Apostolopoulos claimed victory with a jump of 6.76m.

• Anders Larson (Concord, N.H.) finished sixth with a jump of 6.03m.

• Leclair finished eighth with a jump of 5.87m.

• Cameron Bayusik (Stoneham, Mass.) finished ninth with a jump of 5.81m.

Triple Jump

• Bayusik finished seventh with a jump of 12.13m.

Shot Put

• Abi Perez (Derby, Conn.) finished seventh with a throw of 10.60m.

Weight Throw

• Perez finished 10th with a throw of 9.39m.

Conn returns to action on Saturday, January 10 as the Camels head back to Middletown, Conn. for another Wesleyan Invitational.
