LEWISTON, Maine – The Connecticut College women's basketball team wrapped up the 2024-25 season with a 68-54 loss to Bates College on Friday night at Alumni Gym.
Elsa Daulerio netted a game-high 22 points in 29 minutes to propel the Bobcats to victory. Bates improved to 15-8 overall and 5-4 in NESCAC action.
Sydney Marshall (Enfield, Conn.) and
Avery Burns (Orleans, Mass.) continued their strong play, each supplying 13 points in the setback. Marshall also pulled down a team-high eight rebounds and blocked a shot while Burns went 3-for-6 from downtown.
Catie Donadio (Clinton, Conn.) got the Camels off to a good start, pouring in nine points in the opening quarter to keep things close. Baskets by Marshall and
Hayle Thompson (Maynard, Mass.) in the final minute of the period gave Conn an 18-15 edge.

Catherine Cole (Lebanon, N.H.) kicked off the second-quarter scoring, but points were hard to come by for the Camels the rest of the half. Conn shot 3-for-12 in the second period and trailed 29-28 at the break.
Bates came out of the locker room and scored the first 12 points of the second half to break the game open. The Bobcats led by as many as 19 in the fourth quarter en route to the victory.
Donadio finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and four steals in the final game of her collegiate career. Over four seasons she played in 83 games and amassed career totals of 486 points, 355 rebounds, 128 assists, 33 steals and 22 blocks.
Conn finished the season with an overall record of 10-14 (0-10 NESCAC).
