Men's Track and Field Has Strong Showing at Springfield Triangle Classic

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Connecticut College men's indoor track and field team returned to action competing at the Springfield Triangle Classic hosted by Springfield College.

200 Meters

400 Meters

  • Justin Dawes (Yarmouth, Maine) finished third with a time of 52.21.

600 Meters

  • David Iacino (Burlington, Conn.) finished fourth with a time of 1:24.99.

  • Anthony Belford (Bay Shore, N.Y.) finished eighth with a time of 1:27.38.

  • Joao Ferreira (Lisbon, Portugal) finished ninth with a time of 1:27.56.

  • Noah Vernick (Belmont, Mass.) finished 10th with a time of 1:27.58.

1000 Meters

  • Kevin Lieue (Bellevue, Wash.) finished third with a time of 2:37.90.

  • Henry Pfeifer (West Orange, N.J.) finished sixth with a time of 2:40.28.

  • Jacob Bright (New Hope, Pa.) finished 10th with a time of 2:42.22.

Mile

  • Malcolm Frank-Knight (Milton, Mass.) finished 10th with a time of 4:43.68.

3000 Meters

  • Brendan Capodano (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) finished 4th with a time of 9:00.73.

60m Hurdles

  • Evan Rawlings (Mansfield, Mass.) finished third with a time of 8.77 seconds.

4x400 Relay

  • The group of Dylan Haime (Bronx, N.Y.), Rawlings, Frank-Knight, and Finn Reiter (Modena, N.Y.) finished third with a time of 3:48.64.

4x800 Relay

  • The group of Vernick, Pfeifer, Dax Arnold (New York, N.Y.), and Iacino finished second with a time of 8:38.13.
