SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Grace Mattaliano (Norfolk, Mass.) set the school record in the pole vault as the Connecticut College women's track and field team competed at the Springfield Triangle Classic hosted by Springfield College.

On the Track

200 Meters

• Emmy Castano (Wilton, Conn.) finished seventh with a time of 28.05.

600 Meters

• Katie Keating (Dorchester, Mass.) finished seventh with a time of 1:43.21 earning NE D3 qualification.

• Camille Cortes (Annandale, Va.) finished ninth with a time of 1:44.12 earning NE D3 qualification.

1000 Meters

• Chase Ireland (Prospect, Conn.) finished sixth with a time of 3:11.23 earning NE D3 qualification.

• Cleo Kilpatrick (Minneapolis, Minn.) finished seventh with a time of 3:12.95.

• Kate Moroney (Pleasantville, N.Y.) finished ninth with a time of 3:13.63.

Mile

• Sara Braslow (Merion, Pa.) finished fifth with a time of 5:29.96.

• Sarah Steudel (Westborough, Mass.) finished sixth with a time of 5:33.42.

• Olivia Ferraro (Cheshire, Conn.) finished seventh with a time of 11:33.17.

5000 Meters

• Mary Lonergan (Andover, Mass.) finished fifth with a time of 19:13.74.

• Gabbie Mogavero (West Springfield, Mass.) finished sixth with a time of 19:37.45.

• Molly Donovan (Medfield, Mass.) finished eighth with a time of 19:45.04.

• Annika Hegde (New York, N.Y.) finished 10th with a time of 20:03.96.

60m Hurdles

• Alina Newman (Santa Monica, Calif.) finished seventh with a time of 10.09.

4x400 Relay

• The group of Keating, Moroney, Mia Wolpe (Sudbury, Mass.), and Steudel finished fifth with a time of 4:25.09.

4x800 Relay

• The group of April Schilling (Amherst, Mass.), Caroline Graziani (Concord, Mass.), Liz Freeman (Maynard, Mass.), and Abby Williams (Waterville, Maine) claimed victory with a time of 9:54.69.

In the Field

High Jump

• Mattaliano finished eighth clearing a height of 1.46m

Pole Vault

• Mattaliano finished 10th, setting the new school record by clearing a height of 3.10m.

Conn returns to action next weekend, as the Camels travel to Boston, Mass. to take part in the New England Division 3 Championships beginning on Friday at The TRACK at New Balance.
