HADLEY, Mass. – Over 1,400 student-athletes–including 140 from Connecticut College–have been named to the 2025 NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.
To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale at the end of the 2024 fall semester. Transfers must have completed one year of study at an institution.
The 140 selections are the most by Conn College in the winter season in the 25-year history of the award, topping the total from last year. The Camels had representatives in all 10 eligible sports: men's basketball (5), women's basketball (8), men's hockey (20), women's hockey (16), men's swimming & diving (12), women's swimming & diving (19), men's squash (2), women's squash (3), men's indoor track & field (26) and women's indoor track & field (29).
Founded in 1971, the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) consists of 11 liberal arts colleges and has consistently reflected its commitment to the values of athletics and academic achievement. The member colleges of the conference are Amherst College, Bates College, Bowdoin College, Colby College, Connecticut College, Hamilton College, Middlebury College, Trinity College, Tufts University, Wesleyan University, and Williams College.
