Women's Squash Closes Season at CSA Nationals

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Connecticut College women's squash team closed out the season going 1-2 at the CSA Nationals, beating William Smith 8-1, before falling to Wesleyan 9-0 and St. Lawrence 6-3.

Conn opened up the Championships with an 8-1 win over William Smith on Friday morning. All eight of Conn's wins in the match came in straight set victories.

On Friday afternoon, Conn moved into the quarterfinals, taking on Wesleyan, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, the Camels were unable to win any sets, falling in straight sets in every matchup.

On Saturday, Conn wrapped up the Championships, falling to St. Lawrence 6-3. Kairiana Gonzales (East Providence, R.I.) picked up a straight sets win at seventh singles, while both Natalie Drew (Lititz, Pa.) and Angelise Ramirez Palomino (New Haven, Conn.) won by default.

Conn finishes the season with a 4-13 record.
