GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Connecticut College men's swimming and diving team competed in three events on Saturday morning at the 2025 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

Matthew Morris (Alexandria, Va.) led the way with a strong effort in the 200 backstroke, posting a season-best time of 1:47.43 to finish 14th in the session. He will swim in tonight's consolation final—his second in as many days—at approximately 7:05 p.m.

Conn's 400 freestyle relay team of Justin Finkel (Cheshire, Conn.), Morris, Carrick Shea (Grafton, Mass.) and Nicholas Holovacs (Hingham, Mass.) just missed the cut for the consolation final, finishing 17th in the preliminaries with a time of 3:00.55. The Camels will serve as the first alternate for the event.

Evan Lyons (Longmeadow, Mass.) rounded out the morning with a swim in the 1,650 free. His time of 15:52.16 was the ninth-fastest of the session; however, the top eight qualifiers have yet to compete, and will swim later tonight.
