Box Score HARTFORD, Conn. – The No. 41 Connecticut College men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 setback to Trinity College on Saturday afternoon in a NESCAC battle at Memorial Field House.
The Bantams won all three doubles matches by 6-3 finals and went on to take five of six singles matches.
Wolf Sohlberg (Espoo, Finland) supplied the lone point for the Camels at the No. 4 spot, rallying back after dropping the opening set to win by a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 tally.
Arjun Premkumar (Bangalore, India) also put up a tough fight at the No. 1 position, falling in a close three-set affair against John Pope. Premkumar narrowly lost the first set but rebounded to take the second, but Pope triumphed 7-5 in the third to close out the match.
Conn (10-6 overall, 1-4 NESCAC) will next host Wesleyan University on Sunday, April 6 at 9:30 a.m. The match will be held in Luce Field House.
