NEW LONDON, Conn. – A total of eight members of the Connecticut College men's and women's tennis programs were named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams on Tuesday.

On the women's side, juniors Lily Kerachsky (East Greenwich, R.I.) and Sana Bhat (New Delhi) were repeat selections while sophomores Maya Kowalska (Feasterville-Trevose, Pa.) and Mary Ella Prendergast (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) earned the distinction for the first time in their careers. For the men's team, juniors Gavin Anderson (Avon, Conn.) and Sigmund Winiecki (Jaffrey, N.H.) were repeat selections while sophomores Arjun Premkumar (Bangalore, India) and Nikhil Agarwal (San Mateo, Calif.) were first-time honorees.

The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be an Academic All-District® honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and have been in the lineup for 70% of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
