Kieh Qualifies for Finals in 100 Meters on Day Two of NCAA Championships

GENEVA, Ohio – The Connecticut College track and field teams continued at the 2025 NCAA Championships, with both Blessing Kieh (Monrovia, Liberia) and Alexa Estes (Virginia Beach, Va.) competing in the preliminaries of their respective events.

Kieh was the first Camel to compete on day two, running in the first heat of the 100 meters. Kieh finished third in her heat with a time of 11.895. With her time, Kieh snuck into the finals by 0.001 of a second, with the finals set to run at approximately 2:40 p.m.

Estes ran in the opening heat of 800 meters, claiming fifth in her group with a time of 2:12.09. With her time, Estes finished 11th overall, to earn All-American Second Team honors.

Action from the championships wrap up tomorrow afternoon, with Conn participating in four finals, beginning with Grace McDonough (Londonderry, N.H.) in the 1500 meters at approximately 1:35 p.m.
